Executive coaching

"The only knowledge which can influence the behavior of an individual is that which he discovers by himself and that he appropriates"
Carl Rogers - On becoming a Person

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching consists of supporting a person so that they find their own answers to the questions they ask themselves or to the problems they encounter.

The objective of this practice is to build an autonomy of reflection and action, by bringing an original and comforting light, to allow the coachee to overcome his difficulties and to broaden his point of view.

But still ?

Executive coaching consists of a series of individual interviews between a person (the coachee) and an external third party (the coach), the aim of which is to support the coachee in achieving his professional and personal objectives.

This process involves questioning the coachee by the coach, whose role is not to provide the right answers but to ask the right questions.

For the coach, it is about enabling the coachee to become aware of dead ends or dysfunctions in the perception of reality, to bring out his talents and strengths, to mobilize his resources in accordance with his values, so that he or she can find her own way to achieve her goals; all based on listening and empathy, without preconceptions and without judgment, acting like a human mirror.

The coach also prepares the coachee to take action by helping him to formulate commitments and concrete actions to be carried out. The coachee chooses himself a few points of progress which will serve as a reminder, a point of support to facilitate the achievement of his objectives.

The coach accompanies without ever preceding and without giving advice on what the coachee should implement.

Calling on a coach is giving yourself an additional chance to achieve personal fulfillment under the best conditions and time.
